Mud glorious Mud.

Boys LOVE mud. I am sure we all know this. It doesn't matter where in the world you are if there is a mud puddle you will most likely find a boy has tried to get into it. Being on a kiwi farm going into winter it is no different. A beautiful weather saw us having to buy in water (sadly)

so whilst the truck was unloading Rakaipaka felt it was the perfect opportunity to find a mud puddle.

Slush slush slush he was so happy. The warnings voice of his mother was greeted with big cheeky smiles and more mud, mud, mud.

Funny thing about mud. When you least expect it.......

Yes the inevitable happened. Rakai landed face first in the mud... needless to say he didn't like that one too much. BUT it did not stop him from going straight back to the mud pits when he was cleaned up.. When will they learn!!!!

Comments

  1. Well now it is perfectly clear where my girls got this mad obsession with mud from. Your side of the family! Some genetic traits are just so much fun aren't they. Nothing like a good mud patch even on a cold day.

"I'll be your best friend?!"

My baby never fails to have a “such a cutie” moment every day. I don’t know what it is about him, perhaps knowing he is the baby, or simply that he was such a good baby, that I have noticed these little moment s more.   I have to share this one with you. It has happened twice this last week. We are sitting in the car and Rakaipaka calls out and asks for something. Usually it is a lolly or chocolate or something I don’t have at that time. Anyway I call out ‘no’, and the response comes back, “Oooh, Ill be your best friend”!!! Ha How cute is that!! He is all of what 2 years old and is already trying that line on his mother!!! Now the question is posed…. Which one of his siblings did he hear that from!!!!

Volleyball

Teancum really enjoys playing volleyball. He jumped right into the teams at boys high, and within a couple of weeks, he was in the 'A' team. They came runner up this season to a solid Hillcrest school team. An awesome group of boys.
