At the beginning of the
winter sports season Renata loved to go and watch Hikawera play rugby with
Dad. However, his allegiance
changed half way through. He met some great little friends his age at Nauvoo’
netball. The group would sit on the sidelines and eat lollies, and goodies and
socialize for the duration of the games. Some games, the father of one of the
children would take them to the Skateboard park adjacent and watch them have a
burn too. One of the kids in the group called it “lollyball”…. They will all
end up going to school together next year too.
