Girls night out.

Hi have missed my dear friends in fiji, but have been blessed with a wonderful new friend here in NZ. We organized a girls night out for the two of us. It was the first time to the movies since being back to nz. It was great to 'dress up' and go out. I was so surprised at the cinema when we walked in. They were sooo posh!!! There is a cinema called the circle lounge $15 saw us sitting in HUGE lounge type chairs with a table in the middle for our snacks and drinks and spot lights we controlled. (on/off switches) We watched Mirror Mirror. I love Julia Roberts, and unlike the last Julia Roberts movie I saw, I stayed awake through the whole thing. I tried to take a photo of the chairs cause I was so wrapped with them - yes don't get out much do I - and had to get a photo of the two of us to remember our night out.

Every light you see is the middle of 2 seats shining on the table for refreshments.

Introducing Looie James!!

We also stopped to Hells Pizza on the way home for scrumptious Gormet pizza and I was introduced to their dessert pizza. Custard berries, banana and chocolate. We sooo love chocolate. The boys in the shop were great, we dined and talked till it was about 11:30pm (they closed at 11) and looie's daughters were txting her to see when SHE was coming home... such a great night, such a good friend.. Thanks Looie.

Flashback - Rotten teeth?

I was putting the boys to bed the other night, and as usual you go through the usual teeth toilet, bed etc... I asked Rakai, did you brush your teeth? He said no. (He was honest) So, I said, "do you want your teeth to fall out while you are asleep?" He answered with a sad look on his face, "yes, cause then I can get some money". Oh that was such a Rakai thing to say!! I had to counter that (trying not to laugh) by telling him that the tooth fairy doesn't give money for rotten teeth! Then, Hikawera pipes up saying he got $5 for a rotten (dead actually from being banged) tooth that the dentist had to pull out. I had to go into real damage control then!! Rakai comes out with the funniest things sometimes. He is golden.

Volleyball

Teancum really enjoys playing volleyball. He jumped right into the teams at boys high, and within a couple of weeks, he was in the 'A' team. They came runner up this season to a solid Hillcrest school team. An awesome group of boys.

Hakarimata's again!

Yes, we did it! We climbed the Hakarimata's again. Still hard, still so rewarding!!
